Why Was LCW Created?

On March 31st 2012, a group of 14 women met for a singular reason. We met because we all felt deeply that we wanted to do more to empower, educate, and support the women in Chiropractic. We believe that the female energy, our innate place of power and growth, comes from a special place, which can only truly be understood and nurtured by other women. And so, with this in mind, we created this organization as a sacred space for women to be women and to flourish in the chiropractic profession.

The League of Chiropractic Women is different from anything we have seen or experienced.

We are an organization for women, created by women, designed to meet the unique needs of all women in chiropractic. We recognize the invaluable roles of spouses, CAs, and women in less traditional roles in chiropractic, such as educators. The thing we all have in common is the universal truth that women excel at creating and nurturing. We have so much to offer our profession on a global level. We are so much more than our individual practices and personal work.

What do we do?

We envision big things and we are fulfilling our goals. We are creating leaders, and developing leadership. We are mentoring and nurturing. We are preserving and protecting. We are here to inspire. We are in touch with our power and keep that unique power alive and thriving. We represent strength – powerful female strength. We are here to innovate. We are here to draw the line in the sand. We are here to create a legacy so other women can follow the path to their own greatness.
